2. Prep the sill and framing. Sloped sill pan or a full run of flashing tape, house wrap lapped correctly, and any framing repairs handled first.
3. Set and fasten the unit. We dry-fit, confirm a consistent reveal all the way around, shim at the load points (not with foam alone), and fasten per the manufacturer schedule.
4. Flash, insulate, and air-seal. Head flashing over the fin, low-expansion foam in the gap, backer rod and sealant at the exterior joint.
5. Trim and test. Interior and exterior casing at the correct reveal, then we operate every sash, lock, and screen before we call it done.
